Biography
April has been one of the best assets to McIntyre Psychological Services! She looks forward to being included in our clients journeys by helping them make the right connections with our clinical staff.
April knew early in life that she loved taking of others and changing lives. She attended Mineral Area College and received her Emergency Medical Technician License and Associates Degree. April went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree at Central Methodist University. Throughout her career, she has found Behavioral Health to be rewarding and full of opportunity. For the last 8 years, she has been working in hospitals, emergency medicine, and her favorite- a correctional facility.
April is certified through the state of Missouri to provide training to employees on Employee Suicide Prevention, Crisis Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, First Aid, and CPR.
When not in the office, and yes she does sometimes leave the office, you can find her busy pursuing her study of Psychology and spending time with her family.
