Meet Carly, a passionate therapist driven by an intense desire for fostering excellence in others’ mental health and well-being. Carly approaches every task with contagious enthusiasm and a genuine understanding of others. She’s bold and courageous, fearlessly paving her own way forward in both her professional and personal life. Carly is driven by dedication, perseverance, and relentless hard work.

Dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those she helps while pursuing her master’s degree, Carly is a second-year graduate student at Central Methodist University and is a marvelous addition to the McIntyre Psychological Services team. Her educational background, including a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in sociology from Central Methodist University, provides a solid foundation for her work in the field.

Carly’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness, with a profound interest in prolonged exposure therapy and play therapy. She is committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for individuals dealing with anxiety and depression, proudly affirming her LGBTQIA+ friendly stance to ensure everyone feels supported.

Carly’s unwavering dedication and compassionate approach make her a powerful force for inspiring positive change and empowering individuals to lead healthier, happier lives. In her leisure time, Carly finds joy in cooking, painting, and immersing herself in the beauty of the natural world, appreciating the healing power of nature.
