Biography 

Sarah is such a passionate, dedicated, hardworking addition to our team.  She enjoys working with clients who are struggling with co-parenting issues, relationships, and other forms of family issues.  

 

She enjoys conducting individual and group therapy that promotes learning effective communication and coping skills.   Other areas of interest for Sarah include helping clients strive towards independent living by enhancing prevocational skills to groups of adults with chronic mental illnesses Sarah practices with an integrative approach that has a firm foundation in cognitive-behavioral therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation.
She is also well versed in prolonged exposure therapy, strength-focused behavioral interventions, suicide assessments, safety planning, and providing holistic care to clients.
Sarah provides a nonjudgmental space and celebrates the unique differences in her clients. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming and is kink and consensual non-monogamy friendly and aware.

She believes the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy and wants to provide a supportive environment for her clients to understand themselves and their process in healing and change.

Sarah is working towards her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and studying psychoanalysis at the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. She has several years of experience as a mental health practitioner as both a caseworker and a psychosocial rehabilitation specialist.  Sarah goes above and beyond in her work and personal life and strives for success in all areas of life.
