Danetta earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri and has built her career working with individuals facing some of life’s most complex challenges. She is known for her calm, structured, and approachable style—balancing honesty and accountability with genuine support. Clients often appreciate that she is direct and engaged, while still creating a space where people feel comfortable opening up.
In addition to direct clinical work, Danetta provides clinical supervision to social work professionals, supporting growth, ethical practice, and confidence in clinical decision-making. She values mentorship and collaboration and enjoys helping clinicians strengthen their skills while staying grounded in evidence-based, client-centered care.
Much of Danetta’s professional experience has been in forensic and correctional settings, including sex offender treatment programs and state-level rehabilitation services. She facilitates individual and group therapy, helps clients recognize patterns that increase risk, and works with them to develop practical tools for long-term change. Safety, responsibility, and personal growth are central to her work.
Danetta also has a strong background in crisis intervention and substance use treatment, having supported individuals and families during acute crises and major life transitions. Her work is informed by evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while remaining trauma-informed and person-centered.
Clients and supervisees alike can expect Danetta to be steady, thoughtful, and genuinely invested. She creates an environment that is structured but welcoming—one where people are supported, challenged appropriately, and encouraged to move forward with clarity and confidence.
