Unleash the Magic of Play Therapy at WPA Kids

At WPA Kids, we believe in the extraordinary potential of play therapy to transform your child’s emotional and psychological well-being. Play therapy is more than just play – it's a powerful therapeutic journey where children can express themselves, explore their feelings, and heal in a nurturing and supportive environment.

WPA is driving the future of clinical excellence for children.

“In play therapy, toys are the child's words and play is their language.”

— Garry L. Landreth

How Play Therapy Can Make a Difference in Your Child's Life

Kid's play therapy room at Webb Psychological Assessments - WPA Kids

Meet Rhett Campbell, Play Therapist

As a parent, it can be incredibly hard to watch your child struggle — especially when they don’t have the words to explain what they’re feeling. That’s where Rhett comes in.

Rhett Campbell is a play therapist who works with children and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and identity-related stress. He understands that many children simply can’t “talk it out” — and they shouldn’t have to.

Play is a child’s natural language, and through play, children show us what they’re carrying inside.

How Rhett Helps

Rhett uses a trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive approach to help children:

  • Process difficult or overwhelming experiences

  • Build emotional awareness and coping skills

  • Improve emotional regulation

  • Strengthen their sense of safety and security

  • Develop confidence and resilience

Sessions are designed to feel safe, predictable, and supportive. Through consistency and attuned connection, Rhett helps children learn that their feelings make sense — and that they can handle them.

Partnering With Parents

At WPA Kids, we believe therapy works best when caregivers are part of the process. Rhett works collaboratively with parents and caregivers to:

  • Understand what behaviors may be communicating

  • Support emotional regulation at home

  • Build stronger parent-child connection

  • Create practical strategies that actually work in real life

He views behavior not as something to punish or “fix,” but as meaningful communication. When we understand the message behind the behavior, change becomes possible.

A Safe, Affirming Space

Rhett is committed to providing affirming, nonjudgmental care. He strives to create an environment where children feel seen and respected — and where parents feel supported, understood, and never blamed.

If you’re wondering whether your child might benefit from play therapy, we’re here to help you take the next step. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
