Hannah Lindzy
Supervised Therapist
Hannah is a compassionate and dedicated counselor-in-training, currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With a natural warmth and calm presence, Hannah is deeply committed to walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, offering empathy, encouragement, and guidance along the way. She strives to create a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel valued and supported from the very first session.
Hannah’s approach to counseling is rooted in Adlerian theory, which emphasizes the importance of connection, purpose, and understanding each person’s unique life story. She also integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and gain greater self-awareness. Above all, Hannah believes that therapy should be tailored to the individual, honoring each person’s strengths, challenges, and goals. She sees counseling as a collaborative process and values the client-counselor relationship as a powerful vehicle for growth.
Hannah believes that everyone can benefit from counseling and has witnessed firsthand how meaningful change can take place—with individuals, in relationships, and within herself. She is especially passionate about holistic care, seeing each client as a whole person with emotional, mental, physical, and social needs. Hannah is LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to creating a welcoming environment for clients of all backgrounds, cultures, and identities. She also actively participates in social justice advocacy, believing that mental health and equity go hand-in-hand.
Hannah’s areas of interest include working with young adults, identity development, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, and building coping skills. She is particularly drawn to helping clients who feel stuck or uncertain, and enjoys helping them rediscover their strengths and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Outside of her clinical work, Hannah enjoys spending time in nature, painting, and visiting local thrift stores in search of hidden treasures. She finds peace in creativity and connection, and brings that same energy into her work with clients. Inspired by the words of Alfred Adler,
“To be human means to be inferior,”
Hannah sees vulnerability not as weakness, but as a fundamental part of being human—and a doorway to growth, empathy, and resilience.
