Rebecca Deason
Director of Clinical Services, Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor
Meet Becca – a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Director of Clinical Services at MPS. She has spent nearly a decade building her career around the belief that every person deserves a space where they are fully seen, genuinely supported, and never made to feel like too much.
Many of Becca's clients are adults who received a late diagnosis of ADHD or autism and are finally making sense of a lifetime of masking, exhaustion, and quietly compensating for a brain that follows a different roadmap. Others are high-achievers who struggle with burnout, perfectionism, or a deep sense of never being quite enough. For individuals navigating sexuality concerns or exploring kink and consensual non-traditional dynamics, she offers clinical expertise without judgment, stigma, or surprise. Her work with bariatric patients spans both pre-surgical psychological evaluations and ongoing therapy to support shifts in identity, relationships, and the complicated feelings that can surface when their body and life begin to change.
Becca takes an integrated, personalized approach to therapy, driven by genuine curiosity about the whole person in front of her. She meets people where they are and believes in their capacity to grow, even when they can't quite see it themselves. She is deeply committed to creating space where all identities are welcomed and affirmed, including LGBTQ+ individuals and anyone whose life has existed outside the margins of what's considered "typical."
When she’s not in her office, you can probably find Becca working on a crochet project, deep in an audiobook, singing along to her favorite musicals, or making memories with the people she loves. She tends to express herself with movie quotes and song lyrics, and when those fall short, she’s been known to simply say “words are hard” – which, in her experience, is universally understood. She brings the same authenticity to her personal life that she brings to her clinical work: no pretense, no performance, just presence.
