Rebecca Deason
Director of Clinical Services, Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor
Meet Becca! She is the Director of Clinical Services at MPS, leading our team with compassion and guidance. Her lively personality and extensive expertise in trauma, disordered eating, body dysmorphia, substance abuse, and bariatric evaluations make her an invaluable asset. As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, she is dedicated to helping her clients succeed.
Becca takes an integrated approach, providing personalized support to navigate emotional and mental changes. She is also a committed advocate for LGBTQ+ youth and women's rights and works with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
With a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Central Methodist University and seven years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Becca is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Human Services at Walden University.
Outside of work, Becca enjoys singing to Taylor Swift, game nights, Disney movies, musicals (especially Mamma Mia!), and making memories with her family. She humorously incorporates "hip-lingo" into her vocabulary.
“I believe we should all strive to be the person we needed when we were at our lowest. I accept my clients for who they are and support them in becoming who they want to be. We are all capable of achieving anything with someone who believes in us while we learn to believe in ourselves.”
